Chair "Design of Cyber-Physical Systems" (Dr. Ch. Grimm, Professor)
Cyber Physical Systems have a tremendous potential to change our future lives. To achieve this, we have to master complexity and domain-crossing heterogeneity. The chair of Design of Cyber-Physical Systems deals in research and teaching with the following topics:
- Domain-crossing, model-based development, e.g. based on SysML, SystemC (AMS, TLM), Modelica, and OMNET++.
- Validation and verification of robustness and resilience, in particular considering uncertainties due to e.g. unknown scenarios or unforeseen failures.
- HW/SW platforms for the Internet of Things (IoT).
We are closely co-operating with industry partners such as AVL, Atmel, or Infineon Technologies and FhG IESW in a variety of EC and BMBF funded projects.
